First Aid Kits

A first aid kit is a combination of medical provisions that are used in basic medical treatment, after an illness or injury. The first aid kit is designed for first response which may or may not be life-threatening. First aiders are there to offer basic first aid where emergency response is on the way to treat a patient. The kit supplies may be used to treat minor injuries like cuts or abrasions, but it a lot of cases the first aid supplies can be used to help prolong a life before paramedics arrive.

CPR Manikins & Supplies

Choose from a single- or multi-pack of CPR Manikins, including Prestan Manikins with CPR monitors. CPR Instructors use manikins during the course while training health care professionals and the public. CPR manikins range from the half body style for layperson training to full body.

AED

An AED, or automated external defibrillator, is used to help those experiencing sudden cardiac arrest. It's a sophisticated, yet easy-to-use, medical device that can analyze the heart's rhythm and, if necessary, deliver an electrical shock, or defibrillation, to help the heart re-establish an effective rhythm. In some cases cardiac arrest is not treated by a shock and the AED can reliably detect these rhythms and direct you to provide CPR until EMS arrive. An AED does all the work for you when you need to assist a patient whose heart is in ventricular tachycardia or fibrillation. Often, you do not even need to turn on the machine. Lifting the device's lid or removing the adhesive pads from the unit turns it on.
